MASTERING DIGITAL WORKFLOW

Introduction to digital workflow in oral implantology : CBCT, software TX Planning, intraoral scanners and digital impressions, 3D design, types of files, surgical guides, scannable abutments, CAD/CAM, 3D printers, materials, Clinical Photography, final restoration.

Didactic and Hands-On Model-Based Training.

A solid foundation of theory and a practical part in which every participant will design a digital case following a step by step simple approach by the instructor in order to finilize with a workable surgical guide Stl file and feeeling comfortable using the software.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course will enable you to:
  • Learn how use a cbct software plan.
  • Know the main intraoral scanners and the advantages and the disadvantages of each one.
  • Learn the different kinds of files and how use it.
  • Know about digital abutments.
  • Know how about 3d design and 3d print. Design and print a surgical guide.
  • Undestanding impression taking, abutmentt selection, temporization and final restoration of implants.
  • Marketing tools: smile designers, digital photography….
  • Learn how the digital dentistry is helping us to perform guide bone regeneration surgeries.

SESSION 1

DIGITAL WORKFLOW IN THE IMPLANT PRACTICE (PART 1)

Every participant will be able to use the 3D planning and design software to be able to finish a surgical case from the CBCT until execution of the guided surgery and in some cases immediate prosthesis previously designed also how to be able to use all tools at hand to improve our patient treatments

SESSION 2

DIGITAL WORKFLOW IN THE IMPLANT PRACTICE (PART II)

Continuation of part 1

Workshop

Every participant and will design their own surgical guide using a 3D planning software.

Faculty : Dr. Daniel Robles

SESSION 3

A lecture session will begin with the camera basic components, important parameters critical to obtain a proper image, and different configurations
depending on what kind of picture we are looking for (Example: intraoral, extraoral or objects).

Workshop

Each participant will work in pairs and will practice the techniques, types of pictures, using proper DSRL parameters learned,lens and edit the pictures in a digital software.
